Docker has moved its installer behind login and force everyone to give their email id to just install the Docker.
When this issue raised on their Github repo, the response was
I know that this can feel like a nuisance, but we've made this change to make sure we can improve the Docker for Mac and Windows experience for users moving forward.
As far as I can tell, the docs don't need changes, so I'll close this issue, but feel free to comment.
Alternatively, you can download other Docker images that contain only features available under the Apache 2.0 license. To download the images, go to www.docker.elastic.co. Run Kibana on Docker for developmentedit. Kibana can be quickly started and connected to a local Elasticsearch container for development or testing use with the following command. Download Kitematic. Download Kitematic, unzip it and double-click the application to run it. Opening Kitematic for the first time sets up everything you need to run Docker containers. If you don’t already have VirtualBox installed, Kitematic will download and install the latest version.
I'm not sure how this improves the user experience and community isn't really happy with this move but the good news is, the installer file for both Windows and Mac can be directly downloaded.
For whatever reason, the docker team wants to force people to use Docker Store - that is obvious. Otherwise they would have no problem to make it possible to download it WITHOUT tracking them through Docker Store.
